1939 R334 Play Ball #26 Joe DiMaggio, signed by DiMaggio in blue fine-point marker on the front. PSA has encapsulated the card, grading the card FAIR+ 1.5 and the signature GEM MINT 10. This is one of only two signed examples of this card graded at this level by PSA, with just two graded higher (out of a total of 17). Because this is one of DiMaggio's most popular and valuable cards, most collectors would have been extremely hesitant to having it signed, especially when there were so many other options available during the 1980s and 1990s "signing show boom." That, no doubt, explains the scarcity of signed examples today.
