PSA has graded the Grant signature MINT 9. The document appoints "Theodore T. Gillihgham of Nebraska" as "Agent for the Indians of the Omaha Agency in Nebraska." Signed by both Grant, as President of the United States, and the acting Secretary of the Interior. The appointment, which is both printed and handwritten, bears the official embossed seal of the Department of the Interior in the lower left corner. The document (17x14"; visible dimensions) displays several horizontal and vertical folds, as well as a few light creases and is otherwise in apparent Excellent condition.
