Terrific 1965 Navy Midshipmen jersey game worn by star defensive back Duncan Ingraham. White cotton blend jersey has tail tagging from Eddie Leonard Sporting Goods, and King O'Shea size 44. The O'Shea tagging was used from 1963-70, and Leonard was a local Baltimore area distributor. Number 22 is sewn on front and black in navy blue, blue and gold trim is on each sleeve. Moderate use displayed includes a small hole to the front below the numbers, some scattered stains, and general wear from laundering. This is actually a bit surprising, as this very lightweight jersey is tearaway style; even for a defensive back such as Ingraham, these often don't have a long game-use life. The Mids recorded a 4-4-2 record in '65, with one of those ties coming in their final game, a 7-7 deadlock against Army.
