Outstanding 1974 Ernie Banks Chicago Cubs game worn jersey is an all-original road gray doubleknit pullover model with Wilson size 42 and "14 74 1 42" strip tag (number/year/set/size) in collar. CHICAGO is stitched across the chest in individual letters with number 14 below left, all in blue. Also, 74 strip tag is on the front left hip. Chenille cub-head logo patch is on left sleeve, number is on back in all blue with no name. Even, definite use shown by the 18-year veteran who, fittingly, became known as "Mr. Cub" during his MLB tenure, all spent in the Windy City. His playing career having ended in 1971, Banks stayed on as a coach and hometown favorite, and was patrolling the first base coaches' box during the season this was worn.
