Brilliant autographed picture of a young Wayne Gretzky from his time with the Edmonton Oilers, circa 1980. Visible portion of the color headshot picture is 7.5x9.5", matted and nicely framed to 13x15". Signed on the bottom of the image in 5/10 black marker along with his iconic number 99. Slight creasing is apparent in the top right corner, but with the framing the piece presents in EX-NM condition. While The Great One's NHL goals record of 894 might be reachable by Alexander Ovechkin (with another 2-to-3 seasons of 30-to-40 goals), his 2,894 all-time points record remains the mark least likely to ever be approached, let alone surpassed.
