Pair of vintage Muhammad Ali pennants dating from the 1970s. 1) Scarce yellow pennant issued in promotion of Ali's rematch for the Heavyweight Boxing title against Leon Spinks at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans on September 15, 1978. The graphics feature the two fighters trading blows, while the text reads "An Encounter For The Third Time" (comparing the fight's significance to Ali's bouts against both Liston and Foreman). GD, with several tack holes, creases, a tiny chip in the upper corner, and what appears to be a faded marker notation near the tip. 2) Souvenir red-felt pennant reading "Muhammad Ali Training Camp - deer lake, pa. 17961." EX, with a clipped tip and light crease near the tip. 30 inches in length.
