Presented is the opportunity to obtain an autograph of Babe Ruth, often considered the professional baseball GOAT. Ruth was a terrific pitcher who had a career record of 94-46, with an ERA of 2.28. Ruth once held the World Series record of pitching 29.1 consecutive scoreless innings. As a batter, Ruth often hit more home runs than did entire American League teams. His 714 home runs, accomplished during pre-steroid times, was once the MLB record. Ruth still holds the MLB records for lifetime slugging (.690) and career OPS (1.164). Ruth wasn't just great at pitching and batting. He also had remarkable penmanship. Naturally a left-handed writer, Ruth, as was often customary at the time, was forced to write right-handed, and he adapted magnificently, with gorgeous handwriting, as exhibited on this cut autograph. The autograph is on a cut measuring 5.1x1", possibly taken from an autograph book or a piece of paper or card stock. Ruth has used blue ink from a fountain pen to sign and inscribe, "Best Wishes From Babe Ruth 1936." The autograph has been encapsulated and given a PSA certified auto grade of NM - MT 8. The offering is a splendid autograph from a baseball immortal.
