One of the earliest known Barry Bonds game used items, offered is his left hand batting glove from the 1984 NCAA West II Regional Championships. Bonds' Arizona State Sun Devils played in three games in the tournament, held from May 25-28, with ASU winning the championship on the 28th. The originally-white glove has a red, white, and blue wrist strap, a velcro fastener with "Champion Tigergrip" and an image of a tiger, and shows tremendous use with pine tar throughout the palm. Name and number "Bonds 24" handwritten on top in red marker. Bonds gifted our consignor this glove after the Championship game and signed it Barry L. Bonds on the inside of the thumb in 7/10 blue ballpoint ink. Our consignor was also able to obtain a team-signed program (13 signatures) and a team-signed ball (11, many with bleeding) and Bonds signed both. Beautiful vintage signatures of the home run king.
