Another great artifact in the fabled "Brady-to-Lelands" connection in this ticket stub from the game in which the GOAT threw his first ever touchdown pass. From the October 14, 2001 contest in which the host New England Patriots outlasted the San Diego Chargers in a 29-26 overtime victory, forever famous for Tom Brady's first TD toss. The recipient, Terry Glenn, tossed the ball into the seats in joy, and that very ball was sold by Lelands in 2021 for over $400,000. In that same auction, TB's 2001 Championship Playoff Ticket card sold for a record-setting $3.2 million. Ironically, it is Glenn who is pictured on this Foxboro Stadium ducat, which presents beautifully and has been encapsulated by PSA as Stub EX 5. Slight discoloration on top back corners may be from display. While in excess of 60,000 fans attended that game, few could have realized its historic import, despite Brady going an impressive 33-for-54 for 364 yards and two touchdowns, ruining hometown hero Doug Flutie's return as QB for the Chargers.
