1970 National League All Star team signed baseball is highlighted by a high grade Roberto Clemente signature. Official National League (Feeney) ball is close to NRMT, with just a very thin clear coat applied to the ball. A total of 33 signatures in black ballpoint ink averaging 8-9/10 overall includes Hall of Famers: Clemente, McCovey, Perry, Mays, Hodges, Aaron, Bench, Torre, Perez, Morgan, Seaver, Gibson, Durocher, and Wilhelm. That 1970 Midsummer Classic was memorable for many reasons, not the least of which was the amount of Hall of Famers who participated. Not only was it played at brand-new Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, but it was also the first night contest in ASG history. Finally, the National League's 5-4 victory in 12 innings was punctuated by the image of Cincinnati's own Pete Rose barrelling toward home plate with the winning run, running over Oakland A's catcher Ray Fosse in the process, a collision still discussed to this day. Comes with PSA LOA.
