Some great irony comes with this ticket stub from the New England Patriots' 10-3 loss to the New York Jets at Foxboro Stadium on September 23, 2001. The motif of that year's season tickets for New England was to have an action photo of a former player, split with an image of his current counterpart. Quarterbacks were the theme for this game, with Drew Bledsoe representing the "current" era. As it turned out, Bledsoe was knocked out of action in the final minutes of that drab affair, to be replaced by one Tom Brady. The following week, the man now known as the GOAT made his first start at Foxboro, and two weeks later he threw his first career TD pass - stubs from each of those games are available in this auction.
