Collection of eight limited-edition medals issued by the Jewish-American Hall of Fame. The Jewish-American Hall of Fame was founded in 1969 and each year's inductee is additionally honored with the production of a special commemorative medal bearing his or her likeness. The medals are produced in bronze, pure silver, and gold-plated silver, with limited numbers produced for each. To date, four athletes have been inducted into the Jewish-American Hall of Fame and this collection features medals for three of those four honorees (Olympic swimmer Dara Torres is the only athlete not represented).
