1917 PCL Zeenut Edward Mensor Hand-Cut card. The card has been encapsulated by PSA and certified as Authentic. This is one of only three examples of this card listed in the PSA Population Report and the first we have ever offered. Nicknamed "The Midget" because of his short height, Mensor enjoyed three seasons of Major League baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1912-1914 before finishing his career in the minor leagues. Mensor played with the Oakland Oaks in both 1917 and 1918. He retired after the 1921 season. The card features a clear image of Mensor in a batting pose upon a white background. All four corners have moderate touches while the edges have a few areas of waviness. Centering is good. There is a horizontal mark running from the left border towards Mensor's elbow. The reverse has a few areas of soiling and age toning throughout.
