Magnificent history in this 1951-52 Boston Braves figural side. Sturdy metal piece measures approximately 20" long, with width varying from 7.5" at the top to 5.5" at the base. Top portion contains a painted baseball upon which the letters NL can be seen in the middle, with B on top and C on bottom. The bottom section is painted in green, brown, and white in the image of a baseball diamond, glove, and two bats. As was common at ballparks of the era, the last seat in each row was adorned with a stadium-specific work such as this one; obviously they have become extremely rare as the years have passed and while this has clearly had a few coats of paint applied over its time, this is still an original artifact from venerable Braves Field.
