Classic circa 1960s Green Bay Packers wood standee celebrates the team that dominated the decade. Wood football-shaped top piece measures 11.25" across and 6.75" from top to bottom. Colorful painting in green and yellow reads "Wisconsin's Green Bay Packers - Champion" and a painted pennant states, "We Like it Here." Wood base is painted green and measures 5x2.5" with a slot on top measuring just over 0.25" - just wide enough to hold the football portion. In fact, it appears as though a bit was shaved from the bottom back, not surprising as the slot remains a snug fit. This was a commercial piece sold as a souvenir, like felt pennants were.
