Exceptional 2012 Arizona Cardinals full uniform (jersey and pants) dating from the game in which superstar wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald snagged his 700th career reception. Black Cardinals jersey has size 38 NFL On Field and year 2012 tagging, with captain's "C" patch (4-star) on right breast, tapered with elastic sewn into armbands and waist. Number 11 is on front and back in white-on-red tackle twill, name on a plate above rear number in same style below cardinal head logo patch. Great use shown across both numbers, with black transfers on back and what appear to be cleat marks or perhaps shoulder pad outlines on front, along with other scuffs and abrasions. Care instructions tag is on inside seam, with hand writing on a piece of cloth tape indicating, "Philly 9/12 700 Catches at AZ." (Note that the designation is month/year, and not month/date.) Pants have Nike On Field size 26 tag with 11 written in black Sharpie, size tag small, and care label with black writing on cloth tape stating "Fitz - 2012 - 9-23-12 - Eagles." Pants also show tremendous game use with grass and dirt stains along with general wear scattered throughout. Fitzgerald reeled in 9 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown in a 27-6 win over the Eagles, becoming the youngest player in NFL history to reach the 700 receptions plateau (a mark that has since been passed in 2020 by Cardinals' wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins). Since he never officially announced his retirement, Fitzgerald's Hall of Fame eligibility date isn't official, but he is a virtual lock as a first ballot inductee.
