The outfielder was a lifetime .300 hitter. 3) Schoendienst - Great second baseman. A 10-time All-Star and a 5-time World Series winner. 4) Gibson - Intmidating right-hander. Had a 251-179 record with a 2.91 ERA. 5) Brock - The outfield speedster once held the Major League record for stolen bases, with 938. 6) Dierdorf was a 6-time Pro Bowler at offensive tackle and became a noted broadcaster. 7) Jackie Smith was a tight end who played 210 NFL games, with 480 receptions for 40 touchdowns. 8) Larry Wilson was a free safety who recorded 52 interceptions and almost single-handedly made the safety blitz a new defensive weapon.
