Beautifully framed and signed album cover from former Beatles guitarist George Harrison's 1981 solo album, Somewhere in England. The album cover is rare in its own right - measuring 12.5x12.5", matted and framed to approximately 21x20" - and a signed version is considered exceptionally scarce. Cover appears in EX condition, autograph with inscription, "Best wishes from," in 8/10 black felt tip marker. Distributed after the tragic shooting death of former bandmate John Lennon, "the Quiet Beatle" modified a song he had written for Ringo Starr, and with those original drum tracks and vocal contributions from Paul and Linda McCartney, the single "All Those Years Ago" was on the album and dedicated to Lennon, with the hit single soaring to #2 on the US Billboard charts. Comes with full PSA letter.
