Rare 1953 "Jackie Robinson Major League All-Stars" barnstorming program signed in pencil by Jackie Robinson and nine other tour members, including MLB and Negro League stars. Robinson has signed the program on the interior front cover, with the signature grading 8/10. The remaining nine signatures all appear on the back cover and are those of Gil Hodges (Brooklyn Dodgers), Ralph Branca (Brooklyn Dodgers), Bob Young (St. Louis Browns), Luke Easter (Cleveland Indians), King Tut (Indianapolis Clowns), Be Bop (Indianapolis Clowns), Buster Haywood (Indianapolis Clowns), Clarence Turner (Indianapolis Clowns), and Jocko Glenn (Indianapolis Clowns). The signatures average 7/10, except for Hodges (3/10). Jackie Robinson barnstorming tour programs are scarce, especially those signed by Robinson. The ten-page program, which is not scored, features numerous photos and a lengthy biography of Robinson, as well as photos and biographies of Luke Easter, Gil Hodges, and Al Rosen. The program (8.5x10.75") remains in Excellent condition. Full LOA from JSA.
