1914-1915 Cracker Jack Baseball complete set of (176) cards from the Barry Halper Collection from Sotheby's Auction. Most of the cards are housed (glued) in their original 1915 Cracker Jack "Ball Players" album with the exception of the last 17 cards which have come undone. The title in the Sotheby’s sale states the set is 1915, but we have identified two 1914 examples. One by examining the back of a common card with a corner lifted from its page, and the second by the presence of (2) Hub Perdue cards. One Perdue card shows "Boston" and the other shows "St. Louis" on the front. His 1914 card is Boston, and 1915 is St. Louis. While it is impossible to determine how many are from 1914, us locating two 1914 examples leads us to believe there are other examples scattered. The original top loader with a Barry Halper Auction sticker upon it is also included. Card grades are based on card fronts only.
