Personal check, undated (but cashed by the recipient on October 10, 1972), signed by Jackie Robinson. PSA has encapsulated the check and certified the signature as Authentic. The check, drawn on the Freedom National Bank of New York, is made out to the Wilson Sporting Goods Co. in the amount of $37.36. Signed, Jackie Robinson, in blue ink (grading 9.5/10) along the base. Jackie Robinson's name is printed along the top border. A stamped endorsement appears on the reverse, along with a bank stamp noting that the check was deposited on October 10, 1972. That date is significant, as it was just two weeks prior to Robinson's untimely death from a heart attack at the age of fifty-three. The check (6x2.75") displays normal bank cancellation stamps and remains in Excellent to Mint condition
