Collection of seven different Brooklyn Dodgers Picture Packs spanning the years 1940 to 1949. This is a near-complete run, missing only 1947 (no picture packs were issued in 1944 or 1945). Unless otherwise noted, each pack is complete and is accompanied by its original envelope (the listing of players for each year conforms to the listing in The Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards). Highlights include a Pee Wee Reese rookie photo from 1940, Jackie Robinson photos from both 1948 and 1949, and signed photos of Reese and Newcombe from the 1949 pack. The photos are in Excellent condition overall, with exceptions noted in our listing. The envelopes are in Good condition overall. The collection consists of the following years: 1940 (25 photos), 1941 (25 photos; Durocher has a small corner crease), 1942 (25 photos; most have light adhesive residue on the reverse), 1943 (24 photos; missing Paul Waner; Durocher and Camilli have pencil notations on the reverse), 1946 (25 photos); 1948 (26 photos), and 1949 (25 photos; all have written notations on the reverse; both the Reese and Newcombe photos have been signed by the respective players on the front).
