Jim Rice Cooper pro-model ("C206") bat dating from circa 1986. Although this bat was ordered by Rice and was made to his specifications, it appears to have been used by Don Baylor, as the number "25" is written on the knob in black marker. Rice wore number "14" with the Red Sox during his career, while Don Baylor wore number "25" with the Red Sox during his two seasons with the club (1986 and 1987). The bat, which measures 35 inches in length and weighs 34.875 ounces, is not cracked and displays light-to-moderate use, including several ball marks on the barrel and rack marks. The bat's length (35") and original factory weight ("34 OZ") are stamped in the knob. Rice has inscribed the bat in black Sharpie (grading 10/10) on the "sweet spot" of the barrel: "Jim Rice M.V.P 78."
