Nice assortment from the personal collection of pitcher/first baseman Hank Gowdy, who played in the Majors from 1910-25. Highlights include: 14k gold pocket watch with initials HG engraved on back dating from 1919; game used New York Giants pants circa 1923-25, graded MEARS A10 (with letter); framed photo from WWII military service; plus a selection of ephemera including photos and newspaper clippings and a 1924 proclamation from The Infantry School naming a street in his honor. Gowdy appeared in 17 Major League seasons, playing for both the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants.
