Sure, you have a few vintage Yankee or Dodger jerseys but baseball wasn’t only America’s favorite pastime. From Japan’s oldest and most prestigious organization comes this rare (and almost unseen on this side of the Pacific) cream-colored flannel home jersey. Worn during the early years of Sadaharu Oh’s world-renowned career, this “Tamazawa” jersey tells many a great story. After an apparent number change (by the team) “Giants 43” spreads across the chest in double-layer, black and orange felt with “43” on the verso. “Tokyo” is sewn on the left sleeve. Nice use is evident throughout this wonderful import.
