Collection of twenty-two World Series ticket stubs, spanning the years 1947 to 1962, including a 1954 Game 1 stub and two 1955 Game 7 stubs.

The highlight of the collection is a New York Giants ticket stub issued for Game 1 of the 1954 World Series against the Cleveland Indians in which Willie Mays made his historic over-the-shoulder catch. Graded VG-EX 4 (MK) by PSA. The "MK" designation is due to a vintage red-ink notation on the reverse that reads "Willie Mays catch/Giants 5 Cleve 2 Dusty Rhodes." That marking aside, this is an exceptional high-grade example of this ticket, with none graded higher in the PSA Population Report. It should also be noted that aside from proofs, no full examples appear in the PSA Population Report. This is one of the most significant postwar World Series tickets in the hobby and it has been appreciating in value dramatically in the past few years, as evidenced by an auction price of $22,900 for a PSA VG 3 example in April 2022.

The tickets range in condition from Fair to Very Good, averaging Good, with nearly all displaying light creasing and minor paper loss on the reverse.
