Index card signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Kiki Cuyler. PSA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as "Authentic." Cuyler's signature, which appears on the lined side of the card, has been scripted in pencil and grades 8/10. Cuyler has added "Atlanta BB Club" below his signature. (Cuyler was manager of the Atlanta Crackers from 1944 to 1948.) Cuyler died in 1950 at the age of fifty-one, but wasn't elected to the Hall of Fame until 1969. That combination of events has led to the scarcity of his signature today. This card is part of a much larger signature collection compiled by our consignor's father in the late 1940s ("The New England Autograph Collection"). All the items from the collection are featured in thirty-one separate lots in this auction, including many prominent Hall of Famer autographs. The index card (5x3") is in Excellent to Mint condition overall.
