Presented is a triple-signed photo of a dream outfield of Hall of Famers: Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, and Ted Williams. Each played in the American League in 1951, and each outfielder became one of baseball's greatest icons. In 1951, Mantle was in his rookie season with the New York Yankees and DiMaggio was in his final campaign with the Bronx Bombers. Mantle played his entire career with the Yankees (1951-68), and with 536 home runs the 20-time All-Star is the greatest switch-hitting home run hitter in history. Mantle broke into the Majors as a right fielder as DiMaggio held down center field in his final season. Mantle played mostly as a center fielder until late in his career when he switched to first base. He was a 3-time AL MVP, a 7-time World's Champion and the winner of the AL Triple Crown in 1956. Center fielder Joe DiMaggio also played his entire career with the New York Yankees. He hit .325 lifetime with 361 home runs despite missing three seasons during World War II while in the military. DiMaggio was a 3-time AL MVP and the 13-time All-Star led the Yankees to nine World Championships. Ted Williams always wanted to be the best hitter who ever lived, and some people argue that he succeeded. Williams played his entire Major League career (1939-1960) with the Boston Red Sox. The left fielder hit .344 lifetime and was the last Major Leaguer to hit over .400 for a season, when he hit .406 in 1941. The 19-time All-Star hit 521 home runs and took six batting titles. Williams' great statistics were achieved despite missing nearly five seasons of play because of service as a pilot in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. The photo appears as if it taken circa 1951. The 8x10" black and white photo has the DiMaggio, Mantle, and Williams signatures each written in big and bold blue ink from a marker. The photo shows the signatures of three of the best power hitters in history, making the autographed photo pretty powerful in itself. It comes with a PSA Letter of Authenticity.
