The black-and-white photo captures Jordan during a Chicago Bulls practice session as he matches up on the court against teammate Orlando Woolridge. An "Associated Press" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with a copy of the original wire caption, dated October 21, 1984. As noted in the caption, Jordan had just signed a $6 million, seven-year contract with the Bulls. This photo was taken five days prior to Jordan's first game with the Bulls on October 26th, making it one of the earliest known Jordan photos dating from his professional career.
