Exceptional 1995 game used bat from New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter's rookie season. Louisville Slugger model P27 measures 34.5" and weighs 31.2 ounces and is uncracked and shows moderate use. Included are ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks, and paint transfers, in addition to pine tar extending up the handle. Not only does the included letter indicate a PSA GU 8.5 grade, but it also specifies the ordering date for this very stick as August 3, 1995, and is one of just two Jeter bats in PSA's registry dating to that late season 15-game stint. In his first full season a year later, the eventual Captain gave a taste of things to come with a .314 average, 78 RBI, and unanimous AL Rookie of the Year honors. High grade offering from the earliest games of one of the sport's all-time greats.
