In the 1960s and well into the '70s, the humble sport of pool emerged from bars and smoky billiards halls into the national spotlight, thanks primarily to one of the great rivalries in sports history. Willie Mosconi was noted for his finesse and brilliance on the green felt, while Rudolph Wanderone - better known as Minnesota Fats - combined showmanship and the art of hustling to beat superior players, and the two were considered the best in their craft as their rivalry spanned nearly a half century. Their difference in styles and general dislike for one another is the stuff of legend, as evidenced by the autographed "13" ball, signed on the orange stripe by Mosconi in black fine-tip marker, "Fats can't shine my shoes." Writing remains near perfect, rating 9/10. Comes with a PSA hologram and certificate.
