This photograph was presented to Zack Wheat by the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum to commemorate Wheat's 1959 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The original Hall of Fame plaques that honor players upon induction hang in the Baseball Hall of Fame Gallery in Cooperstown. A coveted piece of baseball history is used to symbolize the highest honor in baseball. Brown leather matting conforms to the shape of the photograph (measure 6.5x9”). Nicely framed to 11.5x15” (frame is not original). Mint condition.
