Displayed is a 2001 season long game worn Anaheim Angels Garrett Anderson jersey. Anderson was such a fixture on the Angels' team, that in his 15 seasons with the franchise, he played under three team names: California Angels 1994-96, Anaheim Angels 1997-2004, and Los Angeles Angels 2005-08. The franchise name might not have been steady, but Garrett certainly was. Not counting his first season with the Angels, when he hit .385 in 13 at-bats, and his last two seasons on the Angels when his hitting fell off, Garrett hit between .280 and .321 in every season with the Angels. Six times in his career he hit over .300 with the team. He holds 12 franchise records, including: games (2,013), hits (2,368), runs (1,024) and RBIs (1,292). The leftfielder was a 3-time All-Star, a 2-time Silver Slugger recipient, both the MVP and the Home Run Derby winner at the 2003 All-Star game, and a key member of the Angels World Championship team of 2002. He also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves and for his career, he hit 281 home runs and hit .293. The white jersey with blue pinstripes has "Angels" across the chest. The right sleeve has an American League 100 seasons patch. The left sleeve has the Anaheim Angel logo and below that is a "Rawlings manufacturer's patch. The back has a 9-11 American flag patch that has been placed over the MLB patch. Under the flag patch is "ANDERSON" in navy lettering, and below that is "16", in red numerals with navy trim. The outside front left tail has four patches:  Authentic Collection/MLB/Rawlings manufacturer's; "Set 2 2001"; size "50 tapered"; and "2-inch extra length". Photo-matched to: April 15th - Home Run game (1174749190), May 6th (587659), June 3rd - Home Run game (578991), June 17th (586599), June 30th (600627), August 26th - game winning double game (563592577). also, photo-matched in April and August, so he wore it throughout the season. Most likely Anderson wore the jersey in much more than six games, but there are not photos of every game on Getty Images. In those games, Anderson "tore the cover off" numerous baseballs, as he had two homers, 12 hits, and seven RBIs. The jersey has a small stain on the front above "Angels". Other than the aforementioned stain, it is in excellent condition, and it shows great use.
