Bubba is unrelated to Hall of Fame Detroit Tiger second baseman Alan Trammell. In his first Major League season, Bubba Trammell hit .228, with four homers and 13 RBIs. In that 1997 campaign, Trammell used this offered glove to field 1.000 in 212.2 innings in the outfield, with 52 putouts and one assist. Trammell played in the Major Leagues through part-way into the 2003 season, when he left the New York Yankees for an undisclosed reason.
