Collection of thirty-five official National League baseballs (either Coleman or White), each signed in blue ink across the sweet spot by Duke Snider. Our consignor was a close friend of Snider's and accompanied him on many of his signing show appearances during the mid-1990s, which is where these balls were obtained. Thirty-two of the balls have been inscribed "Duke Snider/HOF 1980." Two of the balls are inscribed, "Edwin 'Duke' Snider/HOF 1980," while another is inscribed "Duke Snider/'The Duke of Flatbush'." The signatures are all boldly scripted, averaging 9/10. The balls display varying degrees of age toning and are otherwise in Near Mint condition. All are housed in their original retail boxes.
