In the 1936 Olympic Games, Jesse Owens won an amazing four gold medals, and before a worldwide audience, Owens smashed Adolf Hitler's myth of Aryan supremacy. Owens gold medals: 100 meters, long jump, 200 meters, and the 4 x 100-meter relay. 1) A 7.7x9.5" black and white photo of Owens competing at the 1936 Olympics. 2) A 1.5x5.25" paper signed and inscribed by Owens as "My kindest regards, Jesse Owens." 3) A special memorial presentational "coin," with a diameter of 1.5", that reads "Jesse Owens Olympic Champion 1913-1980. 4) A Churchman's Cigarette card (1.5x2.5") that features Owens' image and reads "Jesse Owens." The attractive display is matted and framed at 16x20.5". The offering makes a fitting tribute to an athlete many believe to have been the most popular American track and field competitor of all time.
