Red-stitched baseball (no manufacturer's stampings visible) signed by Babe Ruth on a side panel. Ruth has boldly scripted his name in black fountain pen, with the signature grading 8/10. Although no date is listed on the ball, we can reasonably assume that the ball was signed sometime after 1929, which was about the time that Ruth stopped adding quotation marks to the "Babe" portion of his signature. The ball is heavily toned and soiled, with areas of abrasion, indicating that a few additional signatures have been removed (no other signatures can be seen with the naked eye). Those condition anomalies aside, the signature is largely unaffected by any of the aforementioned flaws and the ball displays beautifully as a Ruth single. Full LOA from PSA.
