Displayed is a striking 2020 American League Championship ring presented to the Tampa Bay Rays. Because of the Covid 19 Pandemic, the 2020 season was only 60 games. The Rays went 40-20 in the regular season to win the American League East, and they advanced to the World Series, losing 4-2 in games to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Brandon Lowe was the Rays' big hitter as he hit 14 home runs with 37 RBIs. Josh Fleming was Tampa Bay's mound leader as he had a 5-0 record with a 2.78 ERA. The ring was presented to an employee of the Tampa Bay Rays' organization. The gorgeous 10 K size 11 ring is manufactured by Jostens and the Jostens' box is included. Around the ring face is "2020 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONS." The design of the ring face suggests a Devil Ray fish - as the Tampa Bay team's original nickname was Devil Rays before it was shortened to merely Rays. The right prong of the ring reads, "AL CHAMPIONS/40-20/American League." The left prong reads, "BERROA/RAYS," which indicates that the ring was for an organizational employee named Berroa. On the inside band of the ring is "2-0" and the Toronto Blue Jays' logo (signifying Tampa Bay's defeat of Toronto in two games in the opening round of the play-offs); "3-2" and the New York Yankees' logo (signifying Tampa Bay's defeat in game by 3-2 over the Yankees in the League Divisional Series; and "4-3" and the Houston Astros' logo, (signifying the Tampa Bay ALCS victory over the Houston Astros to win the American League pennant in seven games).
