Original Type I photograph capturing President Herbert Hoover throwing out the ceremonial first pitch of the season on April 11, 1932, at Washington's Griffith Stadium. Hoover is pictured ball in hand, just prior to his toss, as Senators manager Walter Johnson and Boston manager Shano Collins look on. Four Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with remnants of the original paper news caption and handwritten editorial notations. The photo (8x6") displays several light creases and is in Good to Very Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
