Presented is a wonderful opportunity to possess a signed baseball with eight high grade signatures of some of the greatest Hall of Famers in the Pantheon of baseball idols. Signing the Official American League Ball (William Harridge), from the 1954-58 era, are: 1) Jimmie Foxx (on the sweet spot) - In a 20-year Major League career, "Double X" played mostly for the Philadelphia Athletics and the Boston Red Sox and "The Beast" slugged 534 home runs. 2) Paul Waner - "Big Poison" won three batting titles while getting 3,152 hits. 3) Mickey Cochrane - The catcher hit .320 lifetime and won two AL MVPs in his 13-year career for the Philadelphia Athletics and the Detroit Tigers. 4) Charlie Gehringer - the second baseman hit .320 lifetime, with 184 homers in 19 seasons, all with the Detroit Tigers. 5)Ray Schalk - The catcher was one of the honest players on the infamous Chicago "Black Sox". 6) Lefty Grove - Had a lifetime record of 300-141 while winning two Pitching Triple Crowns in his years in the AL with the Philadelphia Athletics and the Boston Red Sox. 7) Carl Hubbell - the left-hander with the superb screwball went 253-154 for his career, all with the New York Giants. He is best remembered for striking out five sluggers in succession in the 1934 All-Star game: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons, and Joe Cronin. 8) Frank Baker - Known as "Home Run Baker", he never hit more than 12 home runs in a season yet won four consecutive home run titles while playing third base for the Philadelphia Athletics in the Dead Ball Era. The ball was signed in the 1950s, and all of the signatures were made with a ballpoint pen. Each signature as in blue ink except for those of Mickey Cochrane and Lefty Grove, which are in red. The signatures rate overall 7.5/10, with a stunning 8.5/10 Foxx on sweet spot. The ball is in NR-MT condition, and it comes with a JSA LOA. These Hall of Fame signatures represent a significant portion of baseball history, all on this one ball.
