Presented is a signed 180 Louisville Slugger ceremonial bat from eleven members (including all eight position starters) of the 1975 Cincinnati Reds, the year's World Series champion. The Big Red Machine was the name for the Cincinnati Reds teams from 1970-79, a group that won six National League West Division titles, four National League Pennants, and two World Series (1975-76}. The signers were: Johnny Bench (HOF), catcher; Tony Perez (HOF), first base; Joe Morgan (HOF), second base; Davey Concepcion, shortstop; Pete Rose, third base (baseball's all-time hit king, with 4,256); George Foster, left field; Cesar Geronimo, center field; Ken Griffey, Sr., right field; and Don Gullett, Will McEnaney, and Jack Billingham, pitchers. The bat is 33.5 inches in length. The barrel of the bat has the MLB logo. Also imprinted on the barrel is "1975 World Champions 'The Big Red Machine'" and the Cincinnati Reds' logo. The bat is in excellent condition, and the signatures overall average 8/10. With its signatures comprising the starting eight of one of baseball's most famous dynasties, the signed Big Red Machine starters' bat is a noteworthy addition to any sports treasure trove.
