Jan van Breda Kolff played in the ABA/NBA for nine seasons. He was a forward who was with the New York/New Jersey Nets for seven seasons and also saw time with the Denver Nuggets, Virginia Squires, and Kentucky Colonels. In the ABA/NBA Jan van Breda Kolff averaged 6.2 PPG and 4.3 RPG. He is the son of legendary college and pro basketball coach Butch van Breda Kolff, who coached at Princeton University and for the Los Angeles Lakers. Jan also coached extensively, spending 12 years as a Division 1 college coach, with six years at Vanderbilt, as well as time coaching Cornell, Pepperdine, and St. Bonaventure.
