Original glass plate negative picturing a large crowd at the Polo Grounds, circa 1920. The unique view pictures the stadium from the upper grandstand, halfway down the first-base line. As such, the only portion of the playing field visible is a section of right field. The right-field section of the grandstand is filled to capacity, as is the visible portion of the right-field bleachers. The negative (8.5x6.5") displays a few tiny perimeter chips. In Very Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
