** FAILED PSA **

Displayed is a signed game used baseball from Sandy Koufax from the Hall of Famer's second no-hitter, pitched on May 11, 1963, at Dodger Stadium. A crowd of 55,350 was in the stands as the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the rival San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers led 1-0 until they scored three times in the sixth inning to take a 4-0 lead. Going into the eighth inning, Koufax was pitching a perfect game. Sandy walked Ed Bailey with one out in the eighth to lose his perfect game, but he hung on, despite not having his best stuff, to complete the no-hitter as Koufax threw 111 pitches, and struck out only four to defeat Juan Marichal by a score of 8-0. Koufax had four no-hitters, and one of those, on September 9, 1965, against the Chicago Cubs, was a perfect game. Koufax was a part of three Dodger World Series championships, including one in this 1963 season. He also was the National MVP in 1963 and won that year's Cy Young Award, and the Pitching Triple Crown, as he went 25-5, with 306 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.88. The consignor's husband was gifted the ball by Marshall Berle (nephew of Milton) when he was a kid. The handwriting, by an unknown hand, reads, " "May 11, 1963, No Hitter, Dodgers + Giants". The ball is signed by Koufax underneath the inscription. It is an Official National League ball showing appropriate use. The signature shows fading but is still legible, and it rates 5/10.  The ball is in good condition, and it shows appropriate use. The valuable ball comes from one of the highest achievements by one of the best pitchers of all time.
