Ticket stub (4.75x3.25") issued for the heavyweight bout between Muhammad Ali and Jurgen Blin held at Hallenstadion in Zurich, Switzerland, on December 26, 1971. Graded VG 3 by PSA. Foreign tickets for Ali fights are rare and this example is no exception. This is the ONLY example of this particular ticket stub graded by PSA at this level, with NONE graded higher. It is also one of only four examples listed in the PSA Population Report. This ticket was culled from the #1 Ranked Muhammad Ali Ticket Collection on the PSA Registry, which is being offered as a "set break" in our Spring Classic 2022 auction. Listed on the PSA Registry as "Muhammad Ali On-Site Ticket Collection," the collection is 74.60% complete with a Weighted GPA of 11.56. This was Ali's third bout after losing to Joe Frazier in "The Fight" nine months earlier. Blin later won both the German and European Heavyweight Championships in 1972, but he was no match for Ali, who knocked him out in the seventh round.
