The 2014 season was Edwin Encarnacion's best ever. He hit 34 home runs, knocked in 98, and had an outstanding OPS of .901. Over his 16-year Major League career, he played 16 seasons, eight with the Toronto Blue Jays - with the remaining years spent with five other teams. Presented is the Toronto Blue Jays 2014 white All-Star jersey issued to DH and first baseman Encarnacion. In 2014, Encarnacion blasted 13 homers in May, setting a Toronto record. Although Encarnacion was selected to the AL All-Star team, he did not play in the game. It was possibly worn in the regular season before the All-Star Game. The jersey is signed on the back "Edwin Encarnacion" along with "10," his number, both in blue. There is the Blue Jay logo on the left chest. On the back of the neck, two stars flank the MLB logo. On the top back of the jersey is "ENCARNACION" in blue block letters. Below the name is the numeral "10" in blue numerals. The jersey is tagged "10 '14 S4" in the neck. The lower left front tail is tagged "Majestic" and "50" for size. The 2014 All-Star Game patch is on the right sleeve. For an eight-year period between 2012 and 2019, Encarnacion averaged over 31 homers and 105 RBI each season, and this jersey was taken in that peak production period when Encarnacion was one of the top sluggers in the American League. There are minor stain dots on the jersey, but aside from those small imperfections, the jersey is in excellent condition.
