Collection of three Brooklyn Dodgers opening-day ticket stubs, plus one regular-season ticket stub, together with a program to the 1959 groundbreaking ceremonies for Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. All three of the opening-day tickets are labeled such in print on the front. 1) 1946 Opening-Day Ticket Stub. Versus the Giants on April 18th. 8-1 victory. Issued for a "Lower Stand" seat. 1.25x2.25". GD. 2) 1946 Regular-Season Ticket Stub. Versus the Reds on May 19th. 4-0 loss. 1.25x2.75". GD. 3) 1951 Opening-Day Ticket Stub. Versus the Phillies on April 17th. Jackie Robinson hit his first home run of the year and 55th of his career in the Dodgers' 5-2 loss. 1.25x3.5". GD-VG. 4) 1953 Opening-Day Ticket Stub. Versus the Pirates on April 14th. Both Roy Campanella and Duke Snider homered in the Dodgers' 8-5 win. 1.25x2.25". FR-GD. 5) 1959 Dodger Stadium Ground-Breaking Ceremonies Program. The printing on the cover of the foldout program reads "Commemorating the Ground-Breaking Ceremonies for the new Dodger Stadium at Chavez Ravine September 17, 1959 . . . . . . . . And You Were There." The interior features an artist's rendition of the stadium and team photo of the 1959 World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. 7.75x5.25". GD, with staple holes in the corners.
