Collection of nine name plates originating from the original Yankee Stadium. While we can not state with certainty, we believe these name plates were once affixed along the bases of large-format framed photos of the respective players. All were originally acquired during the renovation of Yankee Stadium in 1973. Single-Name Green Nameplates (10x2.5"): Tony Lazzeri, Bob Meusel, Herb Pennock, and Lefty Gomez. Single-Name Black Nameplates (10x3.5"): Herb Pennock and Ed Barrow. Descriptive Green Nameplate (10x3.5"): "Miller Huggins/Manager/1918-1929." Descriptive Black Nameplate (14x3.5"): "Joe Gordon/Most Valuable Player 1942" and "George Stirnweiss/American League/Batting Champion 1945." All display mounting holes in each corner and moderate-to-heavy wear. In Very Good condition overall.
