One-page handwritten letter, dated August 6, 1949, signed by Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack. In his brief letter, scripted on American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia letterhead, Mack responds to a woman who recently attended several A's games. In full: "Dear Miss Tunstall - Am especially pleased that you enjoyed the games. When ever you can come to see the team play just drop me a line. Sincerely, Connie Mack." Both the text and signature are boldly rendered in black fountain pen and grade 10/10. The letter (7.5x5.5"; visible dimensions) displays one horizontal and two vertical mailing folds, and is otherwise in apparent Excellent to Mint condition. The letter has been matted and framed together with the original mailing envelope (VG) and a modern photographic print of Connie Mack. Total dimensions: 14x18". Comes with PSA LOA.
