Presented is the chance to own a baseball with the signature of Cy Young, the pitcher with the most wins in the history of baseball. The best pitcher in each league is now given the Cy Young Award. It's for good reason that superb pitchers get a award named after Young. He pitched 22 big league seasons, mostly for Cleveland in the National League and Boston in the American League. Young won an astounding 511 games. He won the pitching Triple Crown three times and led his league in ERA twice. Young helped Boston win the 1908 World Series, winning two games. He has the most starts in baseball history with 815, and the most complete games with 749, a number much more than the combined complete games of all MLB pitchers in the last ten years. Young signed the baseball on a panel with a large, neat signature, written with a blue fountain pen. Kid Elberfeld was an infielder who played for 14 big league seasons, for seven teams, and he was with the New York Yankees for seven seasons. The ball has foxing, some stains, scratches, and some small scrapes. The signature of Kid Elberfeld is in an unknown hand. Despite the wear on the ball, the true matter of importance is that an included PSA LOA states that this signature of the winningest pitcher in baseball history is good.
